Advanced Diabetes Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco

July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2012

The UCSF Diabetes Center and Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism invite applications for a one-year advanced fellowship training program in clinical diabetes. This training program is scheduled to start in July 2011. The program will involve clinical training in multiple outpatient clinics and inpatient consultation services related to the expert care of patients with diabetes at USF. Examples of participating clinics will include both adult and pediatric Diabetes Clinics, Insulin Pump Clinic, Nephrology Clinic, Retinopathy Clinic, and High Risk Obstetrics Clinics. The fellowship will not be ACGME-certified, but is designed to lead to the training of individuals who will be able to provide state-of-the-art care of individuals with diabetes.

Applications will be considered from individuals who are graduates of ACGME-accredited US Internal Medicine Residencies, Med-Peds residencies, or Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship programs. Interested individuals should send a CV and three letters of reference by January 5, 2011 to:
